lpcBusiness partners Lampton Enochs and Alyssa Kantrow were working on existing film industry projects when Hurricane Katrina hit. After the storm, Lampton worked furiously to keep the Fox project he was on in Louisiana, and found a perfect site to continue filming in Shreveport. After a very positive experience on this and subsequent projects, he and Kantrow determined it a particularly favorable area to start a new company. Their efforts have spurred production projects in the northwest corner of the state at an unprecedented rate.

Beyond being a driving force behind the growth of Louisiana's film industry in the Shreveport area, the pair is in the early stages of development of a new animation incubator (something that exists nowhere else) with children's book illustrator/author and animator Bill Joyce (ROBOTS, Meet the Robinsons). In addition, Enochs and Kantrow are working to secure funding for a new academic program in animation and digital imaging at LSU-Shreveport – all efforts to further develop a native, infrastructure-based motion picture and animation industry in Louisiana.

Louisiana Production Consultants has extensively capitalized on the state's motion picture production incentives which continue to grow the industry and drive entertainment investment in the state.
